Tradeweb is Once Again Voted Best Fixed Income Trading Platform at the Financial News Trading & Technology Awards

We’re proud to share that Tradeweb has been voted ‘Best Fixed Income Trading Platform’ at the 16th annual Trading & Technology Awards Europe hosted by Financial News in London. The accolade marks Tradeweb’s twelfth win at the Financial News awards, which celebrate the success stories of trading and technology firms operating in, and supporting, financial markets over the past year. Winners are voted on electronically by a distinguished, independent panel of industry practitioners, following a vetting process by the FN editors for conflicts of interest.

Tradeweb is focused on enabling investors to find the other side of their trade quickly and efficiently, by building infrastructure that helps them streamline their workflows through innovative solutions and robust trading protocols. Last year we introduced all-to-all trading on our U.S. institutional credit platform, a solution we would later extend to our European credit offering.

In June 2017 it was announced that Tradeweb had been selected as the first trading platform to connect with China Foreign Exchange Trade System (CFETS) to become the main trading interface for offshore investors to access Bond Connect. A month later Tradeweb and FTSE Russell started providing Gilt and Treasury Bill end-of-day reference prices, succeeding the previous provision by the UK Debt Management Office (DMO).

Meanwhile, our Automated Intelligent Execution (AiEX) functionality allows traders to define parameters that determine how to execute different profiles of orders across multiple asset classes. The tool helps trading desks increase speed-to-market and reduce both cost and operational risk. It also enhances trading efficiency and capacity to focus on larger size transactions, ultimately helping to unlock liquidity through more intelligent trading.

In addition, clients have access to the broadest set of pre-trade data and tools to identify and unlock liquidity through dealer inventories, streams and axes. Thanks to the Tradeweb fixed income TCA solution, clients are also able to analyse every stage of the trading lifecycle, and then modify their strategies to reduce costs and achieve optimal results for investors.
