Remembering Hill Farber

This week marks the loss of an important figure of the brokerage industry with the passing of Hilliard Farber on Sunday. Hill was instrumental in defining a culture of leadership within the brokerage industry, and a beloved friend to many of our colleagues at Hilliard Farber Group, Dealerweb and Tradeweb.

For more than 30 years, his eponymous firm built relationships around the world to help facilitate the flow of capital markets, and continues today as a part of our Dealerweb division. Our acquisition of Hilliard Farber & Co. was an essential step in launching our inter-dealer/wholesale trading business and introduction of new trading technology into the space.

Today, we continue to build and enhance one of the largest trading networks with innovative technology and broking – embracing, in many ways, Hill’s legacy and Tradeweb’s leadership in electronic trading.
