June 2016 Swaps Review – Volumes Up 30 to 50%

ClarusFT's monthly review series looked at swaps trading across currencies and securities for the month of June. The analysis found that June 2016 volumes for USD Interest Rate Swaps (IRS) increased 34% from the previous month, with $2 trillion gross notional traded. During the month, Tradeweb maintained leading marketshare in IRS trading with 32% of volumes being executed on TW SEF and 3.2% being executed on DW SEF.
