Capping off a month that saw the total pool of negative-yielding Eurozone government debt increase to EUR 6.7 trillion, Germany’s 10-year bond yield dropped by 25 basis points to end March at -0.07%. This was the first time the Bund closed with a negative mid-yield since October 20, 2016. At its March monetary policy meeting, the European Central Bank left interest rates unchanged and announced a new series of quarterly targeted longer-term refinancing operations (TLTRO-III), starting in September 2019 and ending in March 2021.

The shares are expected to begin trading on April 4, 2019 on the NASDAQ Global Select Market under the ticker symbol "TW." In addition, the underwriters have a 30-day option to buy up to an additional 6,000,000 shares of Class A common stock from Tradeweb Markets at the IPO price, less underwriting discounts and commissions. The closing of the offering is expected to occur on April 8, 2019, subject to satisfaction of customary closing conditions.
NEW YORK – March 25, 2019 – Tradeweb Markets, a leading, global operator of electronic marketplaces for rates, credit, equities and money markets, today announced that it has commenced the roadshow for the initial public offering of its Class A common stock. Tradeweb Markets is offering 27,268,767 shares of its Class A common stock at an initial public offering price between $24.00 and $26.00 per share. Tradeweb Markets expects to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 4,090,315 shares of Class A common stock at the initial public offering price, less the underwriting discounts and commissions. The shares are expected to trade on the NASDAQ Global Select Market under the ticker symbol "TW."
The trading platform Tradeweb is moving. As part of its Brexit preparations, the company is relocating its EU business from London to Amsterdam. According to the Head of Europe and Asia Business, a centre for electronic trading platforms and trading firms is being established there.
