Jacques Aigrain
Chairman of the Board
Jacques Aigrain is Chairman of the Board for Tradeweb Markets (Nasdaq: TW). He became Chairman in July 2023 and previously served on the company’s board as an independent director since August 2022.
He has more than 30 years of financial services expertise and leadership experience, including seven years as an advisor at Warburg Pincus LLP and nine years at Swiss Re where he was CEO from 2006 to 2009.
Prior to Swiss Re he spent 20 years in global leadership roles at JP Morgan Chase & Co. in New York, London and Paris.
Mr. Aigrain is or has been a director of LyondellBasell NV, Clearwater Analytics, LSEG plc, WPP plc, and Lufthansa Group AG.
He holds a doctorate in Economics from Université Paris-Sorbonne and a master’s in Economics from Université Paris Dauphine – PSL.
