NEW YORK – February 11, 2026, Tradeweb Markets, a leading electronic trading platform for rates, credit, equities and money markets, today announced that it completed the industry’s first fully electronic swaption termination. The inaugural transaction took place between Citadel and Wells Fargo on Tradeweb’s Swap Execution Facility (TW SEF), with post-trade processing routed through OSTTRA’s MarkitWire platform.
Trading activity on the Tradeweb European-listed ETF marketplace amounted to EUR 86.3 billion in January, the platform’s second-best performance since its launch in October 2012. The proportion of transactions and notional volume completed via Tradeweb’s Automated Intelligent Execution (AiEX) tool registered at 95% and 31%, respectively.
Global government debt markets saw mixed moves in January. While most European 10-year benchmark yields retreated from December’s high levels, their equivalents in Australia, Canada, Ireland, Japan, the UK, and the U.S. all rose during the month.
