Tradeweb wins its 11th accolade at the Financial News Trading & Technology Awards
We’re thrilled to announce that Tradeweb was voted ‘Best Fixed Income Trading Platform’ at the 2017 Financial News Trading & Technology Awards Europe. Tradeweb has won eleven Financial News awards, since the event was launched fifteen years ago. Enrico Bruni, head of our Europe and Asia business, was delighted to collect this prestigious trophy at a gala event held at London's V&A Museum on May 25.
The awards celebrate the success stories of those trading and technology firms operating in, and supporting, the financial markets over the past year. Financial News compiles its nominee shortlist after extensive research and taking soundings from industry contacts, and reviewing data and industry information. Candidates are then voted on electronically by a distinguished, independent panel of industry practitioners, and the results are vetted by the FN editors for conflicts of interest.
Tradeweb saw trading activity in European Spread Products / Eurobonds reach a record-breaking EUR 73.8 billion in the first quarter of 2017. Over the same time period, one-sided axes – which link pre-trade information with trade execution – posted by dealers on our Eurobond platform, peaked at more than EUR 100 billion, up 50% year on year.
Last year, we also announced that the "Tradeweb FTSE Gilt Closing Prices" solution will succeed the UK DMO in producing end-of-day gilt reference prices. The transition is expected to take place in July 2017.

We’d like to thank everyone who voted for Tradeweb to receive this accolade once again!
