The Women of Tradeweb Continue to Move Markets and FinTech Forward

| Tradeweb

The contribution of women in fintech has played an important part in moving our industry and the markets forward. This was an exciting year for Tradeweb, as our team members in the U.S., Europe and Asia were recognized by the industry and their peers.

Four of our talented colleagues in Europe and Asia were named to the 2017 Women in FinTech Powerlist, which lists leading female influencers for their leadership and contributions to the global fintech industry:

Rosie Murphy Williams, chief compliance officer & MLRO, oversees regulatory compliance for Tradeweb’s Europe and Asia business. She participates in industry discussions with regulators across Europe, and was instrumental in our successful application to launch an APA service under MiFID II.

Patty Oosterbeek, director and head of Northern & Eastern Europe sales, heads a team of seven looking after clients based in Germany, Scandinavia and the Benelux region. Patty has been focused on ensuring clients are constantly updated on the impact of MiFID II, and how Tradeweb solutions can help them stay compliant under the new regime.

Zara Pratley, managing director and head of solutions sales, has helped expand the Tradeweb credit and derivatives marketplaces. She played an integral role in the launch of the firm’s single name credit default swaps platform, and the introduction of new flexible trading protocols to our European Credit offering.

Miyuki Takemori, a director in Tradeweb’s Tokyo office, manages the firm’s compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies in Japan. She has been instrumental in educating clients on the impact of MiFID II locally, helping them to adapt their workflows to ensure compliance with the new rules.

In the U.S. our colleagues were recognized at the Markets Media Women in Finance: Markets Choice Awards, which celebrate some of the most talented and accomplished women across the business of finance and capital markets.

Elisabeth Kirby, managing director and head of product & market strategy, won the award for Excellence in Product Management. She is focused on the development of the electronic trading business for U.S. Rates Markets, and has played a key part in building Tradeweb’s leadership in derivatives trading through the development of its swap execution facilities (SEFs).

Amanda Meatto, managing director and head of sales and relationship management for Tradeweb Direct was named a Rising Star. She is focused on expanding the business, and plays an important role in managing client relationships.

In addition, Erica Barrett, managing director and head of product execution for U.S. Rates, and Lauren Stollow, managing director and head of strategy and business operations for Tradeweb Direct, were finalists in respective categories for Excellence in Leadership and Excellence in Trading Platforms.

It’s been a remarkable year for the women at Tradeweb, and we couldn’t be prouder of their achievements!
