Tradeweb reports November boom in European ETFs

Beverly Chandler of etfexpress reports on the record-breaking volume executed on the Tradeweb European-listed ETF marketplace in November 2016. According to Adriano Pace, managing director for equity derivatives at Tradeweb, activity began to significantly increase around the US general election, and continued to reach new heights following Donald Trump's surprise victory. North America equities was by far the most heavily-traded sector, while Government Bonds were once again the most popular fixed income category with more than EUR 1.6 billion in traded notional.
