In a look back at 2016 SEF activity, Amir Khwaja of ClarusFT explores volumes and market share across the CDS, IRS and FX markets. Tradeweb was named the leading SEF for Vanilla IRS with 34.6% total market share, with TW SEF making up 31% of volumes while DW SEF had 3.4%. The firm also had second-highest market share for credit derivatives, with 13% of volumes, up from 11% in 2015.
