Lee Olesky moves up the Institutional Investor Tech 50

After founding Tradeweb as Chairman back in 1998, Olesky’s leadership and focus on consistency and innovation has helped establish Tradeweb as a premier electronic marketplace for fixed income, derivatives and ETFs. In his latest interview with Institutional Investor, Lee shares his views on how “change creates opportunity” among the waves of market transformation he’s observed over the last 20-plus years – and though “we are beginning the next wave of change,” Tradeweb is uniquely situated to continue leading innovation in the institutional, wholesale/inter-dealer, and retail markets, and across asset classes.

Tradeweb is also well-positioned for the tremendous change that data science and enhanced analytics will bring to the fixed income community, an area Olesky argues is ”crucial to finding the other side of a trade” in today’s challenging market environment.
