What are cookies? Cookies are small text files that are placed on your browser by websites that you visit. We use cookies on our website in order to enhance user experience and to make our website work efficiently, for example in order to save your preferences for the duration of your visit, and also to help us identify product features in which you may have the greatest interest.

What types of cookies does Tradeweb use? Generally, the cookies that we use perform the following three functions:

    1. Essential Cookies - These cookies are required for essential website functionality, for example to allow you to navigate from page to page. These cookies are stored temporarily on your device throughout the duration of your browsing session only and are deleted when your browser is closed.
    2. Performance Cookies - We set analytics cookies on our website which enable us to gather information on how visitors use our site and to help us to improve the site. These cookies collect information in an anonymous form, for example the number of visitors to the website and the pages visited.
    3. Functionality Cookies - We also use certain cookies set by a third party in order to provide users with content sharing functionality, enabling you to share certain information through social media links. These cookies are set on your browser by AddThis. AddThis will not have access to any personally identifiable information e.g. your email address unless you provide any such personal information in order to use the social media links (in this case the information would not be shared by AddThis and would only be retained for a short period before deletion). AddThis do however assign your browser with a unique identifier and aggregate visitor data on what pages are shared, when and how. They will also be able to access certain non-personally identifiable information such as where you are visiting the website from and your IP address. AddThis will not install tracking software on your computer, and will only be able to access any of your data if you visit another website which also uses AddThis. AddThis also uses aggregate data for analytic report purposes, for example, it uses an ID assigned to each web browser in order to count the number of people who have shared content on our website. AddThis is also in partnership with certain advertising companies, which means that there is a possibility that you may receive a cookie from one of their advertising partners. If you do not wish AddThis to collection information from you for the purposes of online behavioural advertising then you can opt out, which will prevent advertisers from receiving any such data.
