Tradeweb Influencers Featured in Women in FinTech 2016 Powerlist

We are delighted to share that four of our talented employees based in London - Liz Carter, Serene Murphy, Ayala Truelove and Anna Westbury - have made it to this year’s Women in FinTech Powerlist compiled by Innovate Finance. This list of female influencers focuses exclusively on women, who play an important role in making FinTech successful across institutional, government, venture capital and professional services ecosystems.
Liz Carter is Director for Trade Processing and Clearing and has been part of the Tradeweb family for more than twelve years. Liz is in charge of developing functionality that enhances clients’ clearing workflows, and is currently leading our APA (Approved Publication Arrangement) initiative ahead of the MiFID II implementation date in January 2018.
Serene Murphy is Director, Head of Business Development for Europe and Asia. Her role involves managing a team focused on identifying trends and opportunities to grow the Tradeweb business, while simultaneously sourcing and executing these opportunities across the firm’s divisions. Serene is also an active member of the ‘Tradeweb Cares’ committee.
Ayala Truelove joined Tradeweb in June 2014 as Director, Head of Client Technology, Europe, and is responsible for enhancing the operational workflow of both buy- and sell-side clients. Ayala is also leading our firm’s technological implementation of regulatory reform ahead of MiFID II, and represents Tradeweb in meetings with both local and regional regulatory bodies including the FCA, AMF and ESMA among others.
Anna Westbury is Director for Regulatory and Market Structure. Since joining Tradeweb also in 2014, she has been focused on the European and international markets and trading regulatory reform agenda, as well as our firm’s response to the changing environment. To this end, Anna regularly engages with regulators in Europe and the UK to ensure Tradeweb continues to play a key role in the shaping of new rules affecting market structure.
All four of these remarkable women were put forward by their peers, who recognised their outstanding contributions not only towards Tradeweb’s success, but also towards the future of financial services. We’re proud of their achievements and are looking forward to seeing more of our female staff being recognised for their accomplishments.
