Bob Warshaw is the Chief Financial Officer for Tradeweb Markets. In this role, he oversees all financial activities for the company globally and serves on the executive operating committee.
Warshaw was previously served as CEO of Teliris, a leading provider of telepresence solutions and as COO and Director of Sermo, a web 2.0 community for physicians. As part of his role with OptiMark, he also served as the CEO for Vie Financial Group, a broker-dealer providing anonymous, low impact electronic trading for financial institutions. Prior to OptiMark, Warshaw was a Director and CIO at Lazard for six years.
Before Lazard, Warshaw was a Partner at McKinsey & Co., where he worked with large financial services and technology firms. Warshaw began his career at Anderson Consulting (now Accenture). Warshaw serves as Chairman of Pivot, Inc. and as Director of OptiMark Holdings, Inc.
Warshaw has a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.M. from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management
Scott Zucker is Chief Administrative Officer, responsible for Tradeweb's compliance, human resources, facilities, market data and information management functions. Mr. Zucker joined the Company as General Counsel in 2002.
Prior to joining Tradeweb, he worked in the Corporate Department of Willkie Farr & Gallagher providing legal, regulatory and securities law support exclusively to Bloomberg LP. Previously, Mr. Zucker worked in the Corporate Department of Robinson, Silverman, Pearce, Aronsohn and Berman (now Bryan Cave) where he specialized in general corporate and securities matters.
He received a B.A. from Tufts University and a J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law, and currently serves on the Market Risk Advisory Committee of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
Jay Spencer is Chief Technology Officer of Tradeweb, a position he has held since February 2008. During his time at Tradeweb, he has made a significant impact on the business, overseeing the development of trading and infrastructure platforms globally.
Prior to joining Tradeweb, Spencer was Global Chief Information Officer for Icap and a member of the Global Executive Management team. Previously, Spencer was the founding CTO of BrokerTec, where he worked closely with current Tradeweb CEO, Lee Olesky, in establishing the business. His extensive electronic trading experience also includes senior product and executive positions at EJV Partners and Fidelity.
Spencer received a B.A. in English and Economics from UNC Chapel Hill and an M.B.A. from Wake Forest.
Doug Friedman is General Counsel of Tradeweb. Friedman oversees Tradeweb's legal functions globally across its offices in North America, Europe and Asia. He has played an active role in the regulatory discussion around derivatives reform and the move to electronic trading and clearing. Friedman has also participated in CFTC and industry discussions on the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.
He joined Tradeweb in 2005 as Assistant General Counsel, the position he held until his appointment as General Counsel in 2009. Prior to joining Tradeweb, Friedman worked in the litigation department of King & Spalding LLP, focusing on securities litigation and regulatory investigations. Prior to that, he worked at Cadwalader, Wickersham and Taft, and at Gibbons P.C.
Doug received a B.A. from the University of Michigan and a J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law.
